Hyundai Santa Fe Near Jacksonville
Hyundai Santa Fe Revealed
The Hyundai Santa Fe gets a dramatic redesign to accommodate a new hybrid powertrain, but most of the changes are under the sheetmetal. While Hyundai’s dramatic design language looks overblown, its interior is well-organized and aesthetically pleasing. It has the look of a luxurious midsize sedan, but it’s not quite ready for the big leagues. However, if you’re looking for an affordable crossover that’s big on comfort and features, the Hyundai Santa Fe might be right for you.
SEL trim
If you’re looking for a luxurious midsize SUV, the Hyundai Santa Fe SEL Premium or SEL Limited is the trim to choose. While the Limited is a bit more expensive, it adds more premium features to the SEL Premium. In addition to leather-trimmed seats and a sunroof, the SEL Premium and Limited come standard with many of the SEL Premium’s features. They also have higher-end infotainment system upgrades, including a larger touch screen, built-in navigation, and more sophisticated safety features.
The performance of the Hyundai Santa Fe is not without flaws. Although the standard engine feels energetic around town, it slows down significantly at higher speeds. The available turbocharged engine, however, is more muscular and powerful. The dual-clutch automatic transmission is jittery in stop-and-go traffic, but otherwise, the Santa Fe rides firmly and is well-organized. If you’re not in the market for a hybrid SUV, the SEL trim is an excellent option.
XRT trim
The new Hyundai Santa Fe XRT is the company’s rugged SUV. Its exterior features include matte-black trim around the grille and side mirror covers. The vehicle also features exclusive 18-inch dark alloy wheels. The XRT trim has a hefty list of standard features, but the XRT offers more upscale interior features, too. Its price starts at $43,830.
The new Hyundai Santa Fe was first introduced in its fourth-generation avatar in 2018. It has remained a popular choice in the compact SUV segment thanks to its value-for-money pricing and supreme comfort. Its exterior and interior design have always been elegant and classy, and the XRT trim makes it even more appealing. The XRT trim offers several enhancements to the base SEL trim, including off-road capabilities.
The XRT trim of the Hyundai Santa Fe features a bolder exterior design with new alloy wheels. The powertrain is the same, and its standard features are identical to those of the SE trim. This SUV competes with rivals such as the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota RAV4.
Plug-in hybrid
The interior of the Hyundai Santa Fe plug-in hybrid remains relatively unchanged from previous models. It still boasts good small-item storage and massive cargo hold, a generous glove box, and a deep center console. The Santa Fe is also well-appointed with plenty of headroom and legroom, a rare combination in a hybrid SUV. It will also receive a minor facelift in 2022, including a new headlight design.
The cabin is attractive and comfortable, with good sound insulation and a well-appointed yet unpretentious design. The cabin offers many tech features, including a wireless smartphone charger, a head-up instrument display, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, although the touchscreen may slow responding. The optional infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality and a Harmon Kardon audio system.
